While I know it’s the year of the snake, I think it really is the year of the baby. During the fall of last year, there were no children in my close circle of friends, but at the same time later this year, there will be more than five, including my own little one! Since we’re spread out all around the country, Edwin and I decided that we better get out there and visit our friends who have already had their babies before I can no longer get airborne.

But during one of these purges, I did find a bucket full of stamps. Rubber stamps. As in the kind you use with ink pads.
It’s hard to think that this little one has only been a part of our lives for a year now – and how quickly that year has flown by! My niece has become one of my favorite subjects – it’s kind of ridiculous how many albums I have of her – so I couldn’t resist sharing some of her holiday photos here. Of course, I had to get some photos of her in her holiday dress.
