Tis the season for family holiday photos! I’ve had an unusually busy month for family photos and in the process, have had the pleasure of meeting some new little ones. Like this little man, Spencer. At a year and a half, this rugrat made a mobile subject that made me shoot extra quick in order to get him at a fleetingly still moment.
Spencer’s mom, Elizabeth, asked if we could do some family photos but in a less traditional setting than, say, in front of the family room fireplace. We ended up at the LACMA, which turned out perfect since it gave us enough room for Spencer to run around and do his thing. Like his grown-up outfit? It gets even cuter when you see what his dad is wearing.
See all that cuteness I just posted? Well, soon thereafter, we ended up with this. Check out the size of those tears! Still cute, but maybe in a different way.
This is the photo I think Elizabeth and Eric should pick to grace their holiday cards. I think every parent can relate.
Back to cuteness with his gorgeous mama.
And of course, what family photo session would be complete without the dog? Meet Peanut.
Elizabeth & Eric, thank you so much for being such great sports and meeting me at such an ungodly hour to create these images. It was a pleasure to meet Spencer…and Peanut too!
