“Now I feel kind of bad that my husband isn’t here,” Jenny said when we were about to start her portrait session. I couldn’t help but laugh, because she was so excited to take these photos while she and her son were visiting her parents that her poor husband was getting the boot. Although, I guess he was being represented by his adorable son!
It’s been many years since I last saw Jenny, but we have recently reconnected (of course, through Facebook. I mean, how else do people keep in touch these days??) When she mentioned that she’d be back in Orange County for a few days and wanted to set up some time for a photo session, I was more than happy to do so. Her son, Caleb, is two years old and loves trains and trucks. He was a little shy and serious when we started off and didn’t seem to like my camera, but loosened up when we took him to see some trains – good thing we had Old Towne Yorba Linda!
Feeding the ducks at Eastlake. Look at this cutie! I wish I had his creamy skin…
Caleb was so happy to see this old caboose that he cracked a gorgeous smile!
Okay, so I must admit that when we first placed Caleb on these old postal wagons, I was slightly nervous that he would fall. But Jenny said he was too much of a scaredy-cat to move around, so we left him to stand there and he was so good!
Posing like such a little man.
Jenny – it was so great catching up and meeting Caleb. Hopefully next time I’ll get to meet Chris as well!
