I’m usually a full-color, bold and bright type of gal, but I do love me some black and white. A couple of weeks ago I went to the inspiring Who Shot Rock & Roll exhibit at the Annenberg Space for Photography, where many of the images on display were black and white. One of the most beautiful photos was a platinum palladium print of Mick Jagger, inspiring me to do an all black and white post. And I figured there wouldn’t be a better time to do this than with a newborn session.
So on to the main act: Baby H. If you’ve been following this blog, you saw the last minute maternity session we did with the Kim family. Well, a mere two weeks later, their new addition arrived. At a whopping 9 lbs, 8 oz, this little guy was anything but little.
There really is little better than a chubby baby. Meet Hudson at a mere ten days old.
With his gorgeous momma. This woman seriously does not look like she just gave birth 10 days ago.
A sweet kiss from an even sweeter older brother.
I’ll end this post with a beautiful family portrait.
And since I do believe that new life should be seen in vivid color, expect a second blog post of this session with each of these photos in color. You can then tell me which you prefer!
Jennifer & Steve – As always, it’s such a privilege to document your growing family and meet Hudson! Congratulations!
