It was a match made…on the Warner Bros. studio lot. Cynthia and Heath had met through work, but it wasn’t until a fateful night at happy hour that the sparks began to fly. And it culminated on a warm Friday evening, when this California girl and her Texas boy dedicated their lives to each other.
Cynthia and Heath tied the knot at the Legendary Park Plaza Hotel in Los Angeles. While Cynthia and her bridesmaids prepared for the wedding at the venue, Heath and his boys weren’t far away getting ready at the Los Angeles Athletic Club. A huge thank you is well deserved by my husband, Edwin, who was on hand to make these images.
Can you tell Heath is from Texas? As painful as this is to write (Cal grad here), I’ll do it anyways because Heath is such an amazing guy. Hook-em horns!
I do believe this is my favorite groomsmen photo. Ever.
Meanwhile, back at Park Plaza, the ladies were getting their bride ready.
Cynthia’s inspiration for the wedding was old Hollywood glamour. I don’t think she could have possibly been more glamorous than this.
The thing I loved most about Cynthia? The fact that she called the wedding timeline *my* timeline. This girl gave me free reign to help guide her wedding day and I am so thankful for the trust she has in me. Because of this, Cynthia and Heath opted to do a “first look” before the wedding ceremony. I am so happy they decided to do this because it allowed us the chance to capture this intimate moment. Heath, being the stand-up guy that he is, surprised Cynthia with a beautiful necklace.
What an amazing looking wedding party.
I really, really want to take credit for this photo, but alas, it belongs to Edwin. I think it’s my favorite image from the entire night.
A huge shout out to all the people whose hard work made this day so gorgeous.

Cynthia & Heath – Congratulations again, and thank you so much for making Edwin and I a part of your wedding day. You two are truly an amazing couple and we are honored to be considered “good people.” We can’t wait to spend more time with you two having non-wedding related fun!
**Update: I was reminded that the bride is actually from Michigan, but she feels like a California girl to me!**
